MR. CHARLES HUMKEY

Latin & Greek Master

Mr. Humkey is retired from a career in management, systems design, sales, and marketing.  He graduated from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky with a B.A. in history.  Prior to that he spent a number of years in a minor and then a major seminary discerning a vocation to the priesthood.  There, he gained a thorough knowledge of the Latin language, having studied Latin for over twelve years and Greek for six years.  In addition to teaching Greek and Latin at RLA, he has taught Latin at St. Philomena Academy and served as a substitute teacher for the Avon Grove School District.  His children are grown and he and his wife live in West Grove.
