Mrs. Denise MacMurtrie
Mrs. Denise MacMurtrie graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Religious Studies. She learned the gifts of Classical Education as she homeschooled her own four children. For fourteen years, Mrs. MacMurtrie served as both Program Director and teacher for the Living Bridges Education Program. She specialized in teaching English, religion, and history at the Middle School level and is certified as an IEW instructor.
Mrs. MacMurtrie lives in Collegeville with her husband Sandy, where they have been part of St. Eleanor parish for 26 years. Their youngest daughter, Amanda, was among the first graduating class of RLA in 2014. Mrs. MacMurtrie is excited to return to RLA as the Seventh Grade Homeroom teacher to encourage her students to grow in their faith and love of learning.
