Mrs. McClain earned a B.A. in communications from the University of Pittsburgh where she also took several fine arts courses and recently completed her Masters in English through Ohio Dominican University. She discovered a gift for teaching writing while living in Baltimore, visiting schools as “Miss Miranda, the Story Builder,” and feels blessed to be able to work in her dream job, discussing great literature with her students and helping them develop into competent writers. She has been an active volunteer with Regina Luminis Academy, where two of her children are students. Mrs. McClain lives with her husband, Gerry, and their three children in Glenmoore, PA and is excited to be able to share her love of art and literature with her classes.
